Stayed there for 2 nights, liked it. The host and lovely staff took care of me. I didn't want to leave and totally recommend the property

We had a great stay in Syracuse next to lots of nice restaurants around, the seafront and the center of the city. It was great and unbeatable close to everything. This apartment met requirements; would come there again.

The flat itself is a jaw-dropping combination of modernity and history. The spaciousness is mind-blowing, and the location near the seaside is super convenient for enjoying the beach and exploring the vibrant restaurant scene. Alessandra's politeness and helpfulness were a pleasant surprise, as she went above and beyond to assist us with parking and providing extra amenities like duvets. The fridge stocked with refreshing drinks and local pastries was a delightful welcome treat. The apartment's air conditioning was a must in the summer heat, and the close proximity to a restaurant and several cafes and bars added to the convenience. The view of the sea was an added bonus. the value and quality of our stay was excellent.

Perfectly located with water views, short walk to city center, restaurant across the street. Kind host. Gorgeous, modern, and tasteful apartment with thoughtful touches. Spacious, clean, and tidy with a delightful courtyard. Helpful and accessible host. Highly recommended for a great location and home-like amenities. Loveliest place with beautiful tiles, high ceilings, and cool, artistic stairs. Super-fast, NASA-level stove and new appliances in the kitchen. Glass-walled bedroom, perfect location by the water with nearby cafes and restaurants. Peaceful courtyard garden. Bigger, brand-new bathroom. My favorite place to stay.

Difficult parking in Syracuse.

The host was very friendly and welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed. The newly renovated apartment was stunning, with beautiful tiles and a high ceiling. The kitchen was top-notch, with a fast stove, fridge, coffee maker, oven. The bedroom had a cool glass wall and the AC kept it nice and cool. The location was perfect, right on the waterfront and just a short walk to the main square. The apartment also had a peaceful courtyard garden where I could relax with a coffee or glass of wine.

The narrow streets and tight turns made it difficult to navigate with a car, so it's best to avoid bringing one if possible. while the host provided a stocked fridge with water, juice, and local pastries, this may not be suitable for guests with specific dietary restrictions.

We had the most amazing stay at Casa Marene. From the moment we arrived, the hostess was incredibly sweet and welcoming. She showed us around the beautiful apartment and made sure we knew how everything worked. the apartment itself was stunning, with gorgeous tiles throughout and a high cathedral, like ceiling. the newly renovated kitchen was a dream, with a super, fast stove that felt like something out of NASA. the bedroom, with its artistic stairs and glass wall, was cool and comfortable. the location couldn't have been better, right on the water and a short walk to all the sights in Ortigia. the little courtyard garden was a peaceful spot to enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine. And I have to mention the spacious, brand new bathroom , it was bigger than some bedrooms I've stayed in! This is definitely our favorite place in Ortigia and we will be back for sure!

The property itself was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The comfortable lounge with a dining area offered a stunning view of the horizon, perfect for enjoying the sunset. The kitchenette was fully equipped, adding convenience to our stay. The location was ideal for exploring Ortigia, with many restaurants, cafes, and bars within walking distance. Alessandra's warm hospitality, including a stocked fridge with local delicacies, made our stay extra special.

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment. It is brand new inside and located in a historical building directly near the seafront. The location is perfect, as it is very close to the Duomo piazza in the heart of the historical Centre. Alessandra, the host, was helpful and responded quickly to all my requests. The apartment was well furnished and had everything I needed for a comfortable trip. Alessandra even provided toiletries and breakfast items. The cleanliness was perfect, and the hotel facilities were great. the location in the heart of Ortigia made it easy to explore the city on foot.

Perfect location, facilities, and recommendations! Unbelievable how much this place made our trip beautiful. The host was amazing, giving us great tips for the city. The property was spacious, clean, and modern, with a comfortable lounge and a great view of the horizon. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchenette was fully equipped. It was in a great location to explore the area.

Some people with mobility issues may struggle with accessing the bedroom upstairs due to steep stairs. Additionally, driving and parking in the historical town can be difficult, with residential parking only near the property.
